I had this idea – we should put a chip into every fiat banknote so that all of them, and their movement inside the country and abroad, could be tracked just like payment cards. Or like the tracker chips owners put in dogs and cats.
I asked DeepSeek about this, and it answered that Rus Government had come up with something similar – but better – national digital currency with a unique identification number.
They might say that with the introduction of digital currency, Big Brother will watch you even more closely.
What shocks me is that the US prints about $696 million. And they say, with a straight face, that these $696 million a day are only needed to replace worn-out old dollar bills around the world.
Like, imagine I live in India and I have a one-dollar banknote. It’s all torn and killed, so I go to a bank and exchange it for a new one.
Is that what they need $696 million a day for?
That sounds like nonsense.
For comparison, Russia’s Goznak prints about 19.2 million banknotes a day.
Why the whole world still tolerates these naked kings – these pieces of paper supported by nothing.
And in Russia, they plan not to just add digital currency to the money supply, but to replace paper money with digital rubles. Hopefully that’s what actually happens – because I remember Trump saying that to cover the US national debt, he would just write the debt number on a piece of paper and issue digital dollars for that amount. That’s just insane.
Well… at least it’s reassuring that bankers can’t just add zeros to their accounts, and that money emission is controlled only by the Rus Central Bank.
But on the other hand, it’s scary that such emissions are real and are used by world leaders – and also by cryptocurrency creators. Even that beloved Ethereum can be emissed as a part of the protocol to praise validators, so emission of Etherium is coded in this crypto… maybe you also make the same and become a digital nomad – which is probably exactly what Buterin did.
And then there’s usury (borrowed money returned with %). It appeared with humanity and will never die. The first person who borrowed, and the first moneylender who lent with a +300% return – just like today’s mortgage rates in Russia. DeepSeek says this +300% comes out of emptiness\thin air (because bank operating costs are much lower), and that society and business can’t exist without bank loans – and that +300% just spreads through the economies of country and the world.
Oh, and by the way in the middle of all this fiat, digital, and electronic money emissions, there’s Bitcoin – digital gold – because you simply can’t print more of it. At all.
