I’m currently listening to lectures on world history as part of Religions Studies. Now it covers the revolutions (English, French, and American). As I watch and read these lectures, all I see is fighting. Even with good intentions, these revolutions led to counterrevolutions and after to civil wars. I just want to say that aside from fighting, there are also people who invented the printing press and started to print books, the spinning frame and the power loom to make mass clothes, the steam locomotive, the steamship, electricity etc. You can be remembered in history either as one of the participants in the fighting or as someone who improved the lives of millions of people by creating a mechanism good for all.
